Summer Horsemanship Camps
Horsemanship camp will concentrate on learning horsemanship skills and techniques, with an emphasis on safety and fun! It will be a great week with lots of time in the saddle. Camp is geared toward youth will include hands on activities learning about equine health, nutrition, anatomy, and how to ride. The Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers program will serve low-income students in the Las Cruces Public Schools District as well as the Gadsden Independent School District by providing access to technologies they would not have access to otherwise. The program will serve middle school males, females, and non-binary youth who qualify for the free and reduced lunch at the public schools.

Cellofest 2022
Cellofest is a 2 day workshop for learning about cello, meeting other area cellists, and playing together. Cellists of all levels are welcome. The event will include technique sessions, master classes coaching, and cello choir led by Jorge Espinoza, Erin Eyles Espinoza, Joel Becktell and Hyerim Mapp. CelloFest will take place at NMSU Music Department Building on July 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on July 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

NM PREP Middle School Academy and NM PREP Middle School Academy are summer STEM programs held on the campus of New Mexico State University. The purpose of our camps is to help aspiring players develop and improve their basketball skills in a hard-working, yet fun environment. While there will be competitions throughout the camp, the majority of camp time will be spent on individual skill development. Aggie Fashion Camp is a one day opportunity to learn about the fashion and design industry. Hosted July 13, 2022 from 9:30 to 3:30 for high school juniors and seniors. There will be 3-6 topics covered in the areas of design, merchandising retailing and brand building.
